Come on out to observe the excitement on Thursday, June 13th when the Foundation hosts our 4th annual Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) Aviation Introductory Flights for students from Kennett High School and the Mount Washington Valley Career and Technical Center (MWVCTC). Through our Memorandum of Understanding with MWVCTC, we have been able to get more than 70 students airborne for an introduction to the art and science of motorless flight over the last three years. These students receive ground instruction from a Federal Aviation Agency Certified Flight Instructor before participating in ground operations, a flight simulator experience, and finally, taking flight.
